Leading What You did not start

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. I have had the opportunity to lead in two organizations  and in  both spaces I was not the one who started these organizations rather I was asked to lead after they had kicked off.  I can assure you that leading what you didn’t start is quite freaking and intimidating, because the expectations of the employers and employees are always high and they all look out to see how you go about it.  In both spaces I managed or i have so far managed to pull through because I have allowed myself to raise up to any challenge daily. Getting the influence you need and having the team on board is another goal to attain when you find yourself in spaces leading what you didn’t start. For you to lead efficiently in this space you need the buy in of team members you find in the organisation.  Honor the past, the previous leader...

GOD WITH US

The Lord is my best friend and my shepherd. He guides, leads, conducts, watches over us. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 A shepherd's primary responsibility is the safety and welfare of the flock. The shepherd will graze the animals, herding them to areas of good forage, and keeping a watchful eye out for poisonous plants. The Lord is ever present to shield and feed us therefore we always have more than enough. Times when you find yourself in want, sometimes it's an indicator that you are not abiding, and spending time with Jesus. Our role is to avail ourselves to be led because He can’t force Himself on us.  He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love. He is a restorer, when we are down emotionally, His role is to restore us back to fullness.  His tracks take me to an oasis of peace, the quiet brook of bliss . He is the Prince of Peace That’s where he restores and revives my life.  He opens before me pathways to God’s pleasure and leads me along in his...

MIGHTY TO SAVE

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Ephesians 6:10 NKJV Where is your trust? is it in  your connections, in your family, in your abilities, in your businesses, or in your parents. Trust in the Lord with all your heart do not lean on your own understanding. Trust in God's Might.  I thrive on planning and preparing. Being a Pastor’s wife, recently my husband asked me to teach the word in one of the Sunday services. I had a lot to accomplish that particular week so I knew I wouldn’t have the time I usually like to have to prepare extensively for the sermon, so I said no to the request. A few days after I got a strong sense and it became clear to me that reason I said no was because I was relying on my strength to deliver. Not that planning and preparing is bad but the heart of it is that I was relying on my skill of preparation to pull off a gorgeous sermon. Many times we tend to trust our abilities and strengths and that blinds us fro...

LEAN ON

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5‭-‬6 NKJV‬‬‬ To trust is to have a firm belief in the reliability, truth or ability of someone. Having confidence, belief, trust, assurance or conviction that someone will come through.  Reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; Confident expectation of something; hope. confidence in the certainty of future payment for property or goods received; credit: to sell merchandise on trust. As followers of Jesus, we are expected to put all our  trust in God. We should Let our lives be shaped by integrity, with truth written upon our hearts.. Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.  When we find ourselves worried and full of anxiety, that’s a sign that we are not trusting in God. “Therefore I tell you, sto...
