Nothing multiplies until it is sown!

“Dedication guarantees a glorious future. Dedication is the mystery behind distinction.

How dedicated you are determines how distinguished you will ever become in the

kingdom.” Bishop Oyedepo

Those who are fully committed, zealous, diligent, pledge their allegiance to God shall flourish like a palm tree. The palm branch is a symbol of victory, triumph, peace and eternal life. They shall grow in victory and they will always have strength. They shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. A cedar is a symbol of resilience, immortality, strength and elevation.

I gave my life to Jesus at a very early age, so I have grown up in church. I am a church gal if you like. I have grown up serving in church all my life. I don’t know any other life apart from church proggie and I have always and still love it that way. But you see it’s very easy to serve in church, do ministry, avail yourself for every church activity when your heart is far from God.

Much activity doesn’t mean dedication.

Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore, tell her to help me.” And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:38-42 NKJV

Martha welcomes Jesus into her home. She had a sister called Mary who chose to sit at Jesus’s feet and learn from Him. She knew Jesus had lots of wisdom and revelation to pass on to them hence treasured inclining her ear to His sayings, and paid attention to His word. Whereas Martha was busy in activity serving her soul out. Martha was stressed and losing focus so she reports to Jesus that Mary isn’t helping her with the chores, but Jesus appraises Mary for choosing the good thing of spending time with Jesus.

The Psalmist advises  that blessed, fortunate, prosperous and favored shall we be when we choose not to follow the advice and example of the ungodly, nor stands in the way

of sinners.

Our delight should be in the law of the Lord; and in his law we should meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his

season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Psalm 1:1-3

We are assured of thriving and flourishing when we are planted in the house of our God. So our yielded ness to God is what determines our results.

Until our hearts are planted in God, our destinies are not secured.

Jesus said “He who loves his life will lose it; and he who hates his life in this world shall keep it

unto life eternal.

If any man serves me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if

any man serves me, him will my Father honor.” John 12:25-26

This approach is the way to greatness. It is the way to living a significant life.
