YOU WILL MAKE ROOM FOR WHAT YOU VALUE

Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord (roll and repose each care of your load on Him) trust, lean on, rely on, and be confident also In Him and He will bring it to pass.

In the multitude of anxieties, worry, contention, doubt, fear, hopelessness, emptiness and when all seems like a mess, Christ is waiting on you to make room for Him. He says “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.” The choice is ours to make. He assures us that “Peace I leave with you. Hallelujah!!!!!! This is so exciting. Why do we even waste time asking God to give us Peace, yet He left Her (Peace) with us?   Self - centeredness is the root of all evil. The moment your focus shifts on self, that’s when your mind wanders and you find yourself worried and on tension. It’s not just any kind of Peace. He says “My peace I give to you not as the world gives do I give to you. The world has no peace to offer, that’s why we should focus or set our minds on things above. We’ve got to set our minds on things above not on things of the earth.  

Self-reflection is a discipline we all need, to help us discover what occupies us most. What fills your space most times? What are you meditating on? What consumes you?  It’s time to unclutter your life. Learn to say NO to the good and say YES to the best. I have set before you life and death, blessing and curses; therefore, choose LIFE.

Question we need to be asking ourselves right now is; What takes most of your time?  Selah…………… You yield to that which you give yourself to. Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey?

You are responsible for the ground of your heart. Some people are like the seed that falls on the hardened soil of the road. They hear the word and very soon Satan snatches away what has been planted in them. When you are overwhelmed with worries about all you have to do and want to get, the stress strangles what you have heard and you fail to bear fruit. Allow your heart to be good ground. May we be among those who hear the word, embrace it and produce a harvest thirty-fold, sixty-fold and a hundred-fold.

Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? For the temple of God is Holy which temple you are.

Make room for God in your life, recognize and understand that He is God. He is with us, our refuge, high tower and stronghold.

1.       Get Rid of all distractions.

2.       Be still and Know that He is God.

It is the Spirit that gives life the flesh profits nothing!!!!!!!!!
